Michael Paquier 7a24fad3d9 doc: Mention validation attempt during ALTER INDEX .. ATTACH PARTITION 
Since 9d3e094f12, the command tries to validate the parent index of the
named index, if invalid.  The documentation did not mention this
behavior, which could be confusing.

PostgreSQL Database Management System

This directory contains the source code distribution of the PostgreSQL database management system.

PostgreSQL is an advanced object-relational database management system that supports an extended subset of the SQL standard, including transactions, foreign keys, subqueries, triggers, user-defined types and functions. This distribution also contains C language bindings.
