8c772985c7 s/LDAP_OPT_MATCHED_STRING/LDAP_OPT_MATCHED_DN/ 
Added place holder for LDAP_FILTER_EXTENDED code.
Added assert() here and there and removed lint.
Removed version promotion code (version must be manually set).
Added messages.c to MSVC project.

a4822cf328 Initial versions of functions to step through messages and references. 
Fixed entry step through functions to check specifically fore entries.
