this commit removes the deprecated "sortlist" option. the option
is now marked as ancient; it is a fatal error to use it in
named.conf.
the sortlist system test has been removed, and other tests that
referenced the option have been modified.
the enabling functions, dns_message_setsortorder() and
dns_rdataset_towiresorted(), have also been removed.
The dnssec-must-be-secure feature was added in the early days of BIND 9
and DNSSEC and it makes sense only as a debugging feature. There are no
reasons to keep this feature in the production code anymore.
Remove the feature to simplify the code.
Remove the use of "port" when configuring query-source(-v6),
transfer-source(-v6), notify-source(-v6), parental-source(-v6),
etc. Remove the use of source ports for parental-agents.
Also remove the deprecated options use-{v4,v6}-udp-ports and
avoid-{v4,v6}udp-ports.

these options concentrate zone maintenance actions into
bursts for the benefit of servers with intermittent connections.
that's no longer something we really need to optimize.
These options and zone type were created to address the
SiteFinder controversy, in which certain TLD's redirected queries
rather than returning NXDOMAIN. since TLD's are now DNSSEC-signed,
this is no longer likely to be a problem.
The deprecation message for 'type delegation-only' is issued from
the configuration checker rather than the parser. therefore,
isccfg_check_namedconf() has been modified to take a 'nodeprecate'
parameter to suppress the warning when named-checkconf is used with
the command-line option to ignore warnings on deprecated options (-i).
Add 'port' token to deprecated.conf. Also add options
'use-v4-udp-ports', 'use-v6-udp-ports', 'avoid-v4-udp-ports',
and 'avoid-v6-udp-ports'.
All of these should trigger warnings (except when deprecation warnings
are being ignored).
The "max-zone-ttl" option should now be configured as part of
"dnssec-policy". The option with the same name in "zone" and
"options" is hereby flagged as deprecated, and its functionality
will be removed in a future release.
This commit converts the license handling to adhere to the REUSE
specification. It specifically:
1. Adds used licnses to LICENSES/ directory
2. Add "isc" template for adding the copyright boilerplate
3. Changes all source files to include copyright and SPDX license
header, this includes all the C sources, documentation, zone files,
configuration files. There are notes in the doc/dev/copyrights file
on how to add correct headers to the new files.
4. Handle the rest that can't be modified via .reuse/dep5 file. The
binary (or otherwise unmodifiable) files could have license places
next to them in <foo>.license file, but this would lead to cluttered
repository and most of the files handled in the .reuse/dep5 file are
system test files.
Adds a new option to named-checkconf, -i. If set, named-checkconf
will not warn you about deprecated options. This allows people
to use named-checkconf in automated deployment precoesses where an
operator only cares if their conf is valid, even if it is not optimal.
This was added as a request as part of introducing a policy on
removing named.conf options.
