9d3279a542 Replace .in with .j2 templates for cases with namedX.conf
The following tests use multiple named configs. Previously, these have
been rendered with copy_setports in tests.sh when needed. Transform
these into jinja2 templates and render them during setup. In the tests,
the copy_setports invocations can be then replaced with a simple cp.

f33e2b6d87 Refactor NamedInstance.rndc() to use EnvCmd() interface
To unify the command handling, utilize EnvCmd() to handle rndc commands:

1. Remove isctest.rndc abstractions. They were intended for an upcoming
python-only implementation. A couple of years later, it doesn't seem
to be coming any time soon, so let's stick with the interface that
makes sense today, i.e. use the same command handling interface
   everywhere.
2. Remove the specialized rndc.log in favor of the generic logging
already implemented by isctest.run.cmd(). I believe the cause of the
many rndc(log=False) invocations was that nobody wanted this extra
file. Yet, logging everything by default makes sense for debugging,
unless there's a good reason not to. In almost all cases, logging was
   switched to the default (enabled).
3. With the NamedInstance.rndc() call now returning CmdResult rather
than combined stdout+stderr string, adjust all the invocations to use
   `.out` or `.err` as necessary.
4. Replace some manual rndc invocation and its base argument
construction with the standardized nsX.rndc() call.
5. In cases where rndc is expected to fail, utilize
raise_on_exception=False and check the `.rc` from the result, rather
   than handling an exception.
6. In addzone/tests_rndc_deadlock.py, refactor the test slightly to
avoid using EnvCmd() entirely to avoid spamming the logs. This test
calls rndc in a loop from multiple threads and such test case is an
exception which doesn't warrant changing the `isctest.run.cmd()`
   implementation.

6f4d4ddb1c test rndc showzone works for named.conf zones
Since the zone now has a reference to their respective configuration
tree, `rndc showzone` can be used for any zones (including those
defined in namedconf), without `allow-new-zones` being enabled.
Add a test for this.

The test is part of the addzone suite because showzone used to be
related to addzone, but this could be moved elsewhere in the future
if more specific tests are needed for showzone.

6b5246b3d2 ensure parser/cfg_obj log includes the line number
Since the `file` property of cfg_obj_t can now be null (instead of
"none"), cfg_obj_t would take a fallback flow where the line was not
logged. This fixes it.

Also, add the log line when parser_complain is called and `file` is null
(which might happend when parsing buffer only) to also include the line
number.

fe55342916 Add nsX fixtures to system tests
Many of our test cases only use a single NamedInstance from the
`servers` fixture. Introduce `nsX` helper fixtures to simplify these
tests and reduce boilterplate code further.

Specifically, the test no longer has to either define its own variable
to extract a single server from the list, or use the longer
servers["nsX"] syntax. While this may seem minor, the amount of times it
is repeated across the tests justifies the change. It also promotes
using more explicit server identification, i.e. `nsX`, rather than
generic `server`. This also improves the clarity of the tests and may be
helpful in traceback during debugging as well.

b8f325ae01 Add support for zone templates
A "template" statement can contain the same configuration clauses
as a "zone" statement. A "zone" statement can now reference a
template, and all the clauses in that template will be used as
default values for the zone. For example:

    template primary {
        type primary;
        file "$name.db";
        initial-file "primary.db";
    };

    zone example.com {
        template primary;
file "different-name.db"; // overrides the template
    };

b121f02eac Unify parental-agents, primaries to remote-servers
Having zone statements that are also top blocks is confusing, and if
we want to add more in the future (which I suspect will be for
generalized notifications, multi-signer), we need to duplicate a lot
of code.

Remove top blocks 'parental-agents' and 'primaries' and just have one
top block 'remote-servers' that you can refer to with zone statements.

The lock-file configuration (both from configuration file and -X

Rename system test directory with common files to _common
The old name "common" clashes with the convention of system test
directory naming. It appears as a system test directory, but it only
contains helper files.

To reduce confusion and to allow automatic detection of issues with
possibly missing test files, rename the helper directory to "_common".
The leading underscore indicates the directory is different and the its
name can no longer be confused with regular system test directories.

Use arithmetic expansion in system tests
Change the way arithmetic operations are performed in system test shell
scripts from using `expr` to `$(())`. This ensures that updating the
variable won't end up with a non-zero exit code, which would case the
script to exit prematurely when `set -e` is in effect.

The following replacements were performed using sed in all text files
(git grep -Il '' | xargs sed -i):

s/status=`expr $status + $ret`/status=$((status + ret))/g
s/n=`expr $n + 1`/n=$((n + 1))/g
s/t=`expr $t + 1`/t=$((t + 1))/g
s/status=`expr $status + 1`/status=$((status + 1))/g

0b09ee8cdc explicitly set dnssec-validation in system tests
the default value of dnssec-validation is 'auto', which causes
a server to send a key refresh query to the root zone when starting
up. this is undesirable behavior in system tests, so this commit
sets dnssec-validation to either 'yes' or 'no' in all tests where
it had not previously been set.

this change had the mostly-harmless side effect of changing the cached
trust level of unvalidated answer data from 'answer' to 'authanswer',
which caused a few test cases in which dumped cache data was examined in
the serve-stale system test to fail. those test cases have now been
updated to expect 'authanswer'.

Add pytest functions for shell system tests
In order to run the shell system tests, the pytest runner has to pick

Previously, there were two different ways to detect feature support.
Either through an environment variable set by configure in conf.sh, or

It is more simple and consistent to have only one way of detecting the

Simplify start/stop helper func in system tests
The system test should never attempt to start or stop any other server
than those that belong to that system test. Therefore, it is not
necessary to specify the system test name in function calls.

Additionally, this makes it possible to run the test inside a
differently named directory, as its name is automatically detected with
the $SYSTESTDIR variable. This enables running the system tests inside a
temporary directory.

Direct use of stop.pl was replaced with a more systematic approach to
use stop_servers helper function.

58bd26b6cf Update the copyright information in all files in the repository
This commit converts the license handling to adhere to the REUSE
specification. It specifically:

1. Adds used licnses to LICENSES/ directory

2. Add "isc" template for adding the copyright boilerplate

3. Changes all source files to include copyright and SPDX license
header, this includes all the C sources, documentation, zone files,
configuration files. There are notes in the doc/dev/copyrights file
on how to add correct headers to the new files.

4. Handle the rest that can't be modified via .reuse/dep5 file. The
binary (or otherwise unmodifiable) files could have license places
next to them in <foo>.license file, but this would lead to cluttered
repository and most of the files handled in the .reuse/dep5 file are
   system test files.

The timeout originally picked for "rndc status" invocations (2 seconds)

Drop $SYSTEMTESTTOP from bin/tests/system/
The $SYSTEMTESTTOP shell variable if often set to .. in various shell
scripts inside bin/tests/system/, but most of the time it is only
used one line later, while sourcing conf.sh. This hardly improves
code readability.

$SYSTEMTESTTOP is also used for the purpose of referencing
scripts/files living in bin/tests/system/, but given that the
variable is always set to a short, relative path, we can drop it and
replace all of its occurrences with the relative path without adversely
affecting code readability.

978c7b2e89 Complete rewrite the BIND 9 build system
The rewrite of BIND 9 build system is a large work and cannot be reasonable
split into separate merge requests. Addition of the automake has a positive
effect on the readability and maintainability of the build system as it is more
declarative, it allows conditional and we are able to drop all of the custom
make code that BIND 9 developed over the years to overcome the deficiencies of
autoconf + custom Makefile.in files.

This squashed commit contains following changes:

- conversion (or rather fresh rewrite) of all Makefile.in files to Makefile.am
  by using automake

- the libtool is now properly integrated with automake (the way we used it
was rather hackish as the only official way how to use libtool is via
  automake

- the dynamic module loading was rewritten from a custom patchwork to libtool's
libltdl (which includes the patchwork to support module loading on different
  systems internally)

- conversion of the unit test executor from kyua to automake parallel driver

- conversion of the system test executor from custom make/shell to automake
  parallel driver

- The GSSAPI has been refactored, the custom SPNEGO on the basis that
all major KRB5/GSSAPI (mit-krb5, heimdal and Windows) implementations
  support SPNEGO mechanism.

- The various defunct tests from bin/tests have been removed:
  bin/tests/optional and bin/tests/pkcs11

- The text files generated from the MD files have been removed, the
MarkDown has been designed to be readable by both humans and computers

- The xsl header is now generated by a simple sed command instead of
  perl helper

- The <irs/platform.h> header has been removed

- cleanups of configure.ac script to make it more simpler, addition of multiple
macros (there's still work to be done though)

- the tarball can now be prepared with `make dist`

- the system tests are partially able to run in oot build

Here's a list of unfinished work that needs to be completed in subsequent merge
requests:

- `make distcheck` doesn't yet work (because of system tests oot run is not yet
  finished)

- documentation is not yet built, there's a different merge request with docbook
to sphinx-build rst conversion that needs to be rebased and adapted on top of
  the automake

- msvc build is non functional yet and we need to decide whether we will just
cross-compile bind9 using mingw-w64 or fix the msvc build

- contributed dlz modules are not included neither in the autoconf nor automake
